
In a major breakthrough against organized property crimes, Konaseema District Police successfully busted an inter-district burglary gang involved in a series of house thefts across multiple districts. Acting on credible intelligence and technical evidence, police arrested two key members of the gang and recovered stolen property worth approximately ₹97.5 lakh.
The recovered items include gold ornaments, cash, mobile phones, laptops, watches, and other valuable belongings stolen from various households. According to police officials, the accused were linked to several burglary cases reported in Konaseema and neighboring districts over the past few months.
The operation was led by Kothapeta Police, who conducted a detailed investigation using surveillance footage, witness statements, and intelligence gathering. The arrested individuals allegedly targeted locked houses and carried out thefts during nighttime hours.
District police officials praised the investigation team for their swift action and dedication in solving multiple cases. Authorities have also urged residents to remain vigilant, secure their homes, and immediately report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
Further investigation is underway to identify other members of the gang and recover any remaining stolen property. Police believe the arrests have significantly disrupted the criminal network operating across the region.
